I've just returned home from the York Dollhouse and Miniature fair. A few pounds heavier after eating too much and quite a few pounds lighter after buying too much. Unfortunately I don't have photographs of the fair...it is not something that the York Fair really promotes. Although the sellers tend to be very generous with their time and allow you to take snaps I decided to leave the camera at home for once.
I made a last minute decision to go, made sure hubby wasn't at work since he's the muscles at these type of fairs. He usually acts as a blocker so that I can get a good look at the tables. This time I asked him to pick five items, in a range of styles, that I could give as prizes for a giveaway. When it's left up to me, I tend to buy things that I like and end up wanting to keep them.
So to cut a long day short, if you would like to be entered into the giveaway, you know the drill. Leave a comment below and five winners will be picked out randomly on Saturday 29th June.
The five prizes are:-
A 12th scale food safe kit from Jane Harrop. (sorry the picture is so small, it's directly from Jane's site)
A solid silver, George I cruet set from renowned silver/goldsmith Stephen J Randall
A wall hung shower and curtain hoop kit from Lili-Anne dolls house miniatures
A working hurricane lamp from Ray Storey The lamp comes complete with lamp and wires. You just need to add the electric =0)
Finally, the tiniest articulated miniature bear that I have ever seen from Yhunt4miniaturesandbears
Have a great weekend everyone. I'm off to play with my new purchases
